As part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team you will help tens of thousands of students encounter Jesus and the life changing message of the gospel every year, giving students the opportunity to:

You will find the Christian Outdoor Leadership Pathway is the perfect way to begin this exciting career. During this leadership pathway you will: 

• be paid a full-time salary while qualifying with a Cert III and IV in Outdoor Leadership; 

• engage in certificate level theological training; 

• gain the practical skills of sharing Jesus in a beautiful and dynamic environment; and 

• be equipped and qualified for a lifetime of ministry with youth and children. 

What does the leadership pathway look like? 

Your journey on the 3-year leadership pathway begins with an 18-month traineeship. During this time you will complete your Cert III in Outdoor Leadership, begin Cert IV training and engage in Ministry Skills training, all while gaining valuable, on-the-job experience. 

Then take on the opportunity to grow further in your skills by completing a Cert IV in Outdoor Leadership while taking on more challenging leadership responsibilities, programs and activities. 

Throughout the course of the pathway you will receive ongoing, certificate-level, theological training provided by Youthworks College to bolster your understanding and ability to communicate God’s word.
